On this day, we recognize all the love and, especially, money that your parents gave you from birth to adulthood. It costs tons of money to raise a child and now that it’s done and you turned out just fine, you can “pay it back” to your parents — in cash! Or, do some chores to lighten their loads and put smiles on their faces.*
Every week, our meetings include:
• Prepared speeches by our members,
• Helpful and constructive coaching of the speeches, and
• Impromptu speaking practice.
And we try to incorporate the theme in our speaking roles. Just something more to make our meetings fun and interesting.
