In light of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Renaissance Speakers is no longer able to meet in person and are now meeting online to protect the safety and well-being of its members and guests.
Even though our meetings are currently online, Renaissance Speakers continues to be what you have expected from the club for the last 32 years: a group dedicated to winning at public speaking and helping others do the same. And we have fun doing it!
It is here that you will practice your skills and hone your craft with the support and encouragement of others:
- Learn the tech of public speaking and practice to get your message across and create an impact.
- Receive helpful and constructive coaching of your prepared speeches.
- Develop your ability to organize your thoughts quickly and respond to an impromptu question or topic.
Our club helps people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators and leaders. From young professionals to experienced managers to those seeking personal growth, you’ll find a warm, supportive group that shares your goals.
We meet every Sunday morning from 9:00 AM to Noon (Pacific Time).
Visitors are always welcome. We often have visitors and students attend our meetings. There is no fee to attend as a guest.
Do you have to speak as a guest? That is totally up to you. We provide an opportunity for you to comment on our meeting toward the end of the agenda but there is no pressure for you to do so; you can choose to make a comment or not.
You can visit our next virtual meeting on ZOOM from anywhere! Whether your computer is equipped with a camera or not, you can join with this link: https://zoom.us/j/8139652106.
Audio only: 1 + (669-900-9128).
Once we resume our in-person meetings in Pasadena, California, we will be continuing our virtual meetings at the same time. You could continue being a member or a visitor no matter where you are!
Jeff is a two-time Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and the current VP Public Relations of Renaissance Speakers.
