Artificial Intelligence: Is it a great technology or a threat to humans?
Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.
Elon Musk said: “…with artificial intelligence we’re summoning the demon.”
Others have opined that it’s not about machines replacing humans, but machines enhancing humans.
Perhaps Physicist Stephen Hawking summed it best by saying, “It will either be the best thing that’s ever happened to us, or it will be the worst thing.”
AI is the theme of this Sunday’s meeting. Our Meeting Toastmaster is Erin Godley who will help sort it all out.
