It’s that time of the year!
Every spring, Toastmaster Clubs all over the world conduct their speaking contests. This year, in our District 100, we will be having two contests. Here are the details:
- International Speech Contest: Competitors deliver a speech from 5 to 7 minutes on any subject they choose. Typically, such speeches are inspirational in nature but can also be of any desired topic.
- Speech Evaluation Contest: All contestants will listen to a “test speaker”, have 5 minutes to draft their evaluation notes, and then give a 2 to 3 minute verbal evaluation.
The contests will be done virtually on Zoom.
