I have been a member of Renaissance Speakers for over 18 years. It has given me a fun friendly environment to make mistakes, fail, screw up and experience what could have been life’s most embarrassing moments. So glad I did all this amongst friends in a friendly supportive club instead of out in the wilds of the world!

Very true, Lance! Within the club, I push myself to try out certain public speaking skills that it would be hard to imagine (for me) doing in front of a non Renaissance Speakers audience. But by doing so, it makes my regular speeches to other audiences all the easier.
