Last week, at the Toastmasters International (TI) annual convention in Palm Desert, California, Roberta Perry was elected to the Toastmasters International Board of Directors.
Today, Roberta’s election results were reported at the Renaissance Speakers meeting and the club responded with an enthusiastic standing ovation as Roberta took the stage.
Later in the meeting, Roberta gave a speech, thanking the many people that helped her to win this prestigious and influential responsibility.
Furthermore, after the meeting, a lunch was held in her honor and many of the attendees expressed their admiration to Roberta as part of a club toast, led by Renaissance Speakers Co-Founder, Richard Stewart.
Roberta has Co-Founded over 50 Toastmasters clubs around the word, including the Renaissance Speakers, and her Board of Directors achievement is an honor for our own club, District 52 and the entire Toastmasters International community.
