News: Why Richard Stewart is Feeling Guilty (Video)
– January 8, 2012Posted in: Club News

Thanks for telling us that, Richard. Hope you are feeling better now.
Being an Oregonian now, and living 831 miles away from Celebrity Center, I am somewhat ashamed and regretful to report that I cannot regularly attend the meetings of the Renaissance Speakers in (or even somewhat near) the flesh.
However, it occurs to me that you are actually the one to blame for that, because you did not found the Renaissance Speakers here on the timber ranch where I live.
To assuage my own guilt, shame, regret and blame, rest assured that I will attempt to attend (in spirit) this next Sunday morning. If you experience a feeling of “being watched” or, as we often call it, “a guilty conscience”, you will know that I have achieved success in my attempt.
Wish me luck!
Jere,
You know, I bet some of those wood peckers and beavers residing on your timber ranch would enjoy and benefit greatly by having there very own Toastmasters group, which no doubt you could found, and then you wouldn’t have to travel so far for your Sunday morning fun.
puns intended ;-)
